Art and painting; Gallery in Hvidesande and Brande
It is my intention that my paintings should be narrative, experimental and challenge the viewer’s pictorial world and imagination.
I was born in Ungstrup near Kjellerup. I love nature, the animals, the birds – and watching them fly free. I love the open expanses and the high sky, with its changing moods. I love the forest, with its secrets and deep tranquility. It is in nature and observations between people that I find the main source of my inspiration – and my symbols, which are found in all my paintings.
My paintings
There are many layers and details in my paintings. Through my own perspective, I retell experiences and thoughts about life.
My style is naturalistic / expressionist with a single symbol universe. I am not limited by a particular style or form of expression and I am always curious to go new ways.
In my color scale, the blue color is rarely omitted. The sky above us colors the day and is reflected in everything.
Blue provides calm, balance and stability. Blue is like taking a big mouthful of fresh air and looking out into a clear and endless horizon, full of stories, full of new experiences where anything is possible and anything can happen.
